The first reported sighting of a Zombie was in Hill Valley, California on November 5, 1955.  Dr. Zemeckis has determined that the Zombi first seen by Otis Peabody, a local Pine Tree farmer, was from outer space (or at least the infection that created the Zombifrous Infectionitis Syndrome that creates the Zombification was from outer space.
